Last flight club…or is it?

robocog 30th July 2015

Just got back in from the final day of indoor flying at Fareham Models

It has been a regular Weds evening of flying at their indoor site for the past couple of months for myself, for others its was the end of an era having been going for 4 or 5 years

I spent a few batteries, chinwagged, watched others fly (and witnessed the occasional crash) and without doubt it has brought on my flying at a MUCH faster rate than if I hadn’t gone

Tonight was no exception, but with a BBQ – I bid farewell to the flyers I have enjoyed company with for the past couple of months with nothing more than a box of dead batteries and fond memories

There was talk of what next…and I heard that they are looking for another indoor site

I will be regularly checking their webpage and Facebook page in anticipation of them finding another indoor site to fly

The guys with bigger helis, quads and planes will still be going along to the outdoor field in Portchester on a Weds evening so I may occasionally pop along meanwhile
